DESCRIPTION:Date: 31st March 2024 \nVenue: Sheikh Zayed Mosque MOH \nOrganizer: RAKCODS Community Outreach Program \n  \nStatus/ Remark: RAK Medical and Health Sciences University has organised a General Health Check up Campaign forSheikh Zayed Mosque\,Ras Al Khaimah in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Prevention and Ministry Representative office  Ras Al Khaimah. The campaign included Blood Pressure\, blood glucose (glucometer)\, BMI and dental screening. RAKCODS has visited The community visit was undertaken by RAKCODS Community Services Team\, students and Dental Interns.A total number of 27 patients were screened for random blood glucose level\, blood pressure\, body mass index by the MBBS\, BSN and B Pharm students. BDS students and interns have performed dental screening. Patients were then educated on the various systemic illnesses that can affect them based on the abnormal readings. \n
