Remark:
RAK College of Dental Sciences (RAKCODS) successfully conducted a series of Professionalism Presentations for undergraduate dental students across all academic years, presented by Dr. Fadia Alfateh, Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics and RAKCODS Representative for Student Affairs.
The series aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of professional values, ethical conduct, responsibility, effective communication, respect, teamwork, and professional behaviour throughout the different stages of their dental education and clinical training. The sessions also reinforced the vision, mission, and core values of RAKCODS and RAKMHSU, encouraging students to carry these principles throughout their academic journey and future professional practice.
Engaging students from the first through the final year reinforced the message that professionalism is a continuous journey that develops alongside academic knowledge and clinical competence and forms an essential foundation for becoming responsible, ethical, and compassionate dental professionals.
This initiative reflects RAKCODS’s continued commitment to developing future dentists who demonstrate not only clinical excellence but also the professional values, integrity, ethical standards, and sense of responsibility expected of the dental profession.
