Goal 1: To ensure that RAKCODS offers academic program in contemporary dental sciences which are recognized locally and regionally for the quality of its educational programs.
1.1. To revise and update the curriculum to feature the recent advancements in the fields of dentistry.
1.2. To develop clinical skills using advanced technologies to produce competent health care professionals.
1.3. To recruit students committed to acquiring knowledge, skills and dedication towards patient care.
1.4 To monitor the outcome of all courses and infrastructure facilities for appropriate action and improvement.
1.5. To design, develop and offer graduate programme according to local and regional standards.

Goal 2: To promote openness, diversity, just culture and interactive academic learning.
2.1. To recruit faculty and students from diverse academic backgrounds to enhance the learning environment.
2.2. To demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a health care team at an individual and community level.
2.3. To evaluate faculty, staff and students in relation to openness, diversity and fairness and to ensure that the key results are entered.
2.4. To promote interactive learning through seminars and continuing professional development programs

Goal 3: To ensure that its graduates are equipped with updated theoretical knowledge and sound clinical skills which make them self-learners and critical thinkers with an ethical orientation.
3.1. To support self-directed learning via both print and electronic sources and to remain current with the advances in health sciences knowledge, skills and practice.
3.2. To demonstrate clinical skill in patient management and to critically appraise its validity and applicability to one’s professional decision.
3.3. To display personal attributes of honesty, professionalism, ability to communicate compassionately and integrity in relationship with staff, patients and colleagues.

Goal 4: To contribute in the advancement of dental sciences knowledge and practice by support of research conducted through its faculty and students.
4.1. To encourage students and faculty to participate in scholarly activities by attending conferences, seminars workshops and innovation programs
4.2. To facilitate the students and faculty to prepare research projects, research grants and publications.
4.3. To monitor and provide budgetary support for faculty and students to participate in continuing professional development programs.

Goal 5: To render oral health care services with highest degree of ethical accountability to self and community.
5.1. To implement the basic ethical principles including confidentiality, informed consent, patient rights, and comprehensive oral health care of the patient.
5.2. To educate and motivate the patients and community about oral health related problems for effective oral health care measures.
5. 3. To encourage and facilitate student and faculty to participate in community oral health programs.

Goal 6: To accentuate the growth of RAKCODS by promoting academic activities in association with other organizations and institutions.
6.1. To establish Memorandum of Understanding with other organizations and institutions to foster academic research collaboration.
6.2. To foster interaction with other organizations to promote innovation and clinical training.
6.3. To monitor the feedback from employers and graduates for review and action.
