This document outlines the policies and guidelines for electronic payments (e-payments) used by RAK College of Dental Sciences, a constituent college of RAK Medical & Health Sciences University. It is designed to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant electronic transactions, protecting both the organization and its users.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to:
- Ensure the security and integrity of electronic payments.
- Protect sensitive financial and personal data.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
3. Scope
This policy applies to:
- All e-payment transactions processed via the RAK College of Dental Sciences website, mobile applications, and integrated payment platforms.
4. Definitions
- E-payment: Any payment made through electronic means, including online payments, mobile payments, or digital wallets.
- Payment Gateway: A third-party service that facilitates payment transactions between the user and the university.
5. Payment Methods
The following payment methods will be accepted:
- Credit and debit cards
- Bank transfers
- Digital wallets (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay)
Transaction Confirmation
- Users will receive immediate, clear confirmation of each transaction, including transaction ID, amount, date, and status.
Transaction Limits
- Higher transactions may require additional verification or approval.
6. Refund Policy
- Application and Admission fees are non-refundable. If the student withdrawn from the University before he/she complete their academic program, any entitlement to a refund of tuition fees will be made in line with the University refund policy. The refund shall be made through banking channel.
